I've taken photos for these books, so Here's a less image-heavy list (on tumblr)
This took so much longer than I first anticipated so I really hope people find this helpful cause, seriously, spending 3 days on this does not feel like it was worth it
edit: I'm putting the tl;dr list here first as a preview of the books I'm recommending.

Felipe Cagno’s Long Journey to “The Lost Kids: Seeking Samarkang.”
Many deviants know well…
…“The Lost Kids: Seeking Samarkand”, the 200+ pages graphic novel written and created by Brazilian storyteller FelipeCagno.
What few know is the story of how it took him almost a decade to bring this story to the public between script re–writes, produc

Dia de los Muertos
“Day of the Dead” is not the “Latin American Halloween.” On Dia de los Muertos, Mexican families visit the spirits of their dead in the cemeteries where they rest. They bring food and other gifts as part of a happy celebration of departed loved ones. Halloween originated with the fear of the sprits of the dead visiting the living so food was offered as bribery for the spirits to do no harm. It was a scary once–a–year intersection of the world of the living with the world of the dead. Day of the Dead continues to be a celebration as antidote to mourning the passing over of loved ones. It is about the ind

schnotte is a German artist know for his photographs of rotting, decaying buildings and other dark themes. His camera explores architectural structures, but mostly to emphasize their coldness. The human figures in his photographs appear out of place, as if lost in filthy, forgotten, broken-down manufacturing machines, the cold, dark environments not built with humanity in mind. Looking through these images we can see the ghosts of the love that once inhabited his worlds and it is that love that still shines through his pictures. We are blown away by the beauty Schotte imbues to these deathly quiet scenes that are equally sad and uplifting
Adding Journals to your Featured GalleryCommunity WeekiAmAneleBiscarra
Your featured gallery is the first page that your gallery visitors will see. Most of the time, we tend to display our very best pieces of work there. However, the featured gallery can also be used to showcase some journal entries that you want viewers to see immediately. These may be important announcements, advertisements, etc. It would be great to know this neat little trick of how to make journals show on your featured gallery.
To make sure that we're on the same page (excuse the pun!), this is what the Featured Gallery looks like:
Let's get started!
Step 1: Locate Your Journal
To locate your journal, type the title of the journal on the search bar and click on "Search Art." In this example, I will look for one of my projecteducate entries. Be reminded that you don't have to type the full title, some keywords would do.
I rarely comb my hair.
English is not my native language; deal with it .
If i like your work,I'll watch you or you; I DON'T BEG A WATCH-BACK; SO,WATCH ME IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT.
Disney and Alice in WhoCaresLand makes me .
Don't forget the take a look at my gallery,
¿Acerca de mí? He sido catalogado como alguien intenso, y díficil de tratar; lo demás es irrelevante...
